This genuine Eureka/Electrolux cyclone cover assembly (Part #80364-7) is the top lid of the bagless dust cup that seals the cyclonic separation chamber. The cover closes over the cyclone, maintaining the airtight seal that allows the vacuum to spin incoming air, fling dirt and debris outward, and drop it into the bin while clean air continues to the filter.
This cover assembly is engineered for the Eureka/Electrolux EL8501 upright vacuum. A cracked or poorly sealing cyclone cover lets air bypass the separation chamber, which weakens suction and lets fine dust reach the filter prematurely. A correctly fitted replacement restores the sealed cyclonic airflow and keeps the dust cup emptying cleanly.
