This is a genuine Eureka front tube top gasket, the small sealing ring that mounts at the top of the front air tube on Eureka upright vacuum cleaners. Its job is simple but essential: it creates an airtight seal where the air tube meets the cleaner body so suction stays strong and dirt is pulled cleanly into the bag instead of leaking out at the joint.
When this gasket dries out, cracks, or goes missing, you may notice weaker pickup, whistling air leaks, or dust escaping around the front of the machine. Replacing it restores the factory seal and full airflow.
