Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This handle socket assembly is a replacement part for Eureka upright vacuum cleaners. The socket is the pivoting joint where the handle meets the vacuum base, housing the connection that lets the handle recline for cleaning and stand upright for storage. Inside, it routes the wiring that carries power up through the handle.

This assembly (Part #38379-2) is designed for the Eureka 3982 and Eureka D series uprights. A cracked or worn socket can cause a wobbly handle, intermittent power, or a handle that won't lock upright, so a fresh assembly restores solid, dependable operation.
