We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Part 636471 is the upper hood for the Eureka and Sanitaire S635 Blue Line upright, the shell that covers the motor compartment and closes off the top of the machine. Depending on the production run you receive, the finish arrives in gray or in blue, and both colors are functionally identical, restoring the machine to correct working order either way.
The hood is a structural cover, not a cosmetic one. Once it cracks or a corner snaps off, the motor compartment underneath sits open to whatever the vacuum kicks up, and dust reaches wiring and bearings that were never meant to see it. On a machine that is otherwise sound, fitting a new hood makes far more sense than replacing the whole upright.

It installs with the same fasteners as the original, with no cutting or modification needed. Confirm your model number on the rating plate before ordering, since the S635 line covers more than one build variant.
The S635 Blue Line has been in service long enough that both hood colors turn up regularly in the field. If color matching matters for a fleet of machines, let us know before the order ships and we will note the preference, though availability by color can vary slightly by the time it actually goes out the door. A cracked shell rarely stays purely cosmetic for long once dust starts working its way past the split, so it is worth ordering sooner rather than waiting for the crack to spread.
