Returns & Exchanges

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Part 30517A is the gasket that seals the joint where the motor meets the base assembly across this cross-compatible line of uprights, covering select Bissell, Eureka, Sanitaire, and Electrolux-Eureka models. It is a small ring of material with an outsized effect on how well the machine actually cleans.

Cleaning performance depends on the whole path from nozzle to fan staying sealed. Once this gasket hardens, splits, or simply compresses flat over years of use, outside air finds a shortcut into the motor housing instead of being pulled in through the nozzle where it belongs. The result is suction that has quietly weakened with no obvious cause, and the same gap lets fine grit reach the bearings, which is the costlier failure hiding behind the softer pickup.
