We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. This ten-pack, part 546692, supplies the small screws that hold the top shell down over the bag compartment on the Sanitaire SC-684E and the broader commercial platform it shares parts with. A worn or missing set is one of the more common reasons a shell stops sitting flat.
Constant motor vibration backs fasteners out slowly over months of daily runtime, no matter how carefully a machine is maintained otherwise. Once a screw or two work free, the shell no longer clamps evenly, and you get a buzz at operating speed, a corner that sits higher than the rest, or a visible gap along one seam. Ordering ten at once means there is always a spare on hand the next time a bag or belt job opens the machine back up.

A screwdriver is the only tool this job takes. Snug each screw evenly rather than cranking one down fully before starting the next, and check that the shell seats flat all the way around once you are done, since a warped shell will keep buzzing regardless of how tight the new hardware is.
A machine that has taken a hard knock is worth checking for this same issue even if the shell looks intact, since an impact can strip the plastic thread a screw bites into long before a crack becomes visible from outside. A stripped hole spins a screw endlessly without ever drawing snug, and that is the giveaway that the screw was never the real problem to begin with.
