This OEM Evolution post filter cover knob fits the Bernina 6400 and 6600. The knob secures the post-motor filter cover, holding it closed over the filter compartment.
A cracked or missing knob lets the filter cover work loose, which can break the seal on the compartment and let unfiltered air bypass the filter. A fresh knob keeps the cover latched and the filtration path closed. Keeping the post filter sealed also protects the air quality the machine returns to the room.
