This OEM Evolution post filter cover knob, in black, fits the Bernina 6100. It fastens the post-motor filter cover, keeping the filter compartment closed and sealed.
When the knob cracks or goes missing, the filter cover unlatches, which breaks the seal and lets air bypass the filter unfiltered. A fresh knob holds the cover shut so the filtration path stays closed. A latched cover also keeps the filter seated squarely so it captures the fine dust it is meant to trap.
