Shipping Information

We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The upper cord hook is the top of the two anchors the power cord wraps around on a Bernina 6000 series machine, and this one, Evolution part 01-6400-03, is listed across the whole 6000 range.

Cord hooks break because they are asked to do something slightly violent every time the vacuum is put away. Once the upper hook has cracked or snapped the wrap will not hold: the cord unspools in the closet, gets stood on, and ends up dragging behind the machine while you clean, which is how cords get pinched under the wheels and how the insulation eventually fails.

A cord that stays wrapped simply lasts longer. The new hook mounts in place of the broken one, and it is worth checking the lower hook at the same time, since the two age together.
