Shipping Information

We offer free standard shipping on eligible orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous United States. Eligibility is calculated on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before tax.

Most in-stock orders using standard shipping are processed within 1-5 business days, and most arrive 2-11 business days after they are placed. Backordered and special-order items may take longer. Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part B486-0414B is the direct air suction fan for the Riccar Brilliance and Synchrony upright platform, shared with the Simplicity Symmetry Premium and S30P built on the same design. In a direct air machine, this fan is the sole source of suction, spinning to pull air and dirt off the carpet and through the machine, so any damage to it shows up immediately as weaker cleaning.

Fans fail almost exclusively from impact. A coin, a small toy, a piece of gravel, or anything else hard enough to survive the airflow can chip a blade or crack the housing on its way through, and a chipped fan both loses efficiency and runs louder and rougher than it should. If an upright that was cleaning well suddenly lost power and picked up a new rattle or whine at the same time, this fan is the first thing worth checking.
