Filter Queen Motor - 112B, ...

Product details

Genuine two-speed, three-wire suction motor for Filter Queen canisters, part 4008007801, also listed as FQ-6036. It fits the 112B and 112C, the Majestic 360, the 75th Anniversary with the AT1100 power nozzle, the M360SS, the 360SS and the M11.

A tired suction motor announces itself in stages. Suction drops off on both speeds, the machine runs hotter and smells of it, the brushes arc audibly, and eventually it cuts out under load and needs a rest before it will restart. None of that improves on its own, and running a failing motor tends to take the brushes and commutator past the point where a rebuild is worth doing.

The motor ships on its own. The shroud is no longer available separately, so plan to transfer the shroud from your old motor. Wiring is involved, which makes this a job for a technician rather than a first repair.
