This replacement secondary filter fits a broad range of Riccar upright vacuums across the R-Series and Vibrance Series. Sitting after the bag, it provides secondary filtration that protects the motor and helps keep the exhaust air clean by catching the fine dust that slips past the first stage.
A secondary filter clogged with fine dust forces the motor to work harder, which reduces suction and can shorten motor life. Replacing it on schedule keeps airflow strong and filtration effective. Plan to change this filter every six to nine months, or sooner if it looks dirty.
