This replacement floor nozzle lower base (Part #KC03RDGU2V0X) forms the underside of the power nozzle on Kenmore canister models 116.21714110, 116.21714111, 116.51714111, 116.51714111B, 116.51714111C, and sub-builds C50XDRG1R030, C50XDPT0R030, and C50XDRG1R030B. It carries the brush roll and holds the working face of the nozzle against the floor.
A lower base with cracks or broken mounting points can no longer hold the brush roll securely, so agitation drops and the roll may bind or sit crooked. A solid base reseats the roll and restores even contact across carpet and hard floors.
