Product details

Pre-motor foam filter for the Bissell 2033, the 3-in-1 lightweight stick vacuum, listed as part 1611500. It sits between the dirt tank and the motor, and it is the last thing standing between fine dust and the motor bearings.

On a small stick vacuum a blocked foam shows up immediately. Suction drops away after a couple of minutes and the motor note climbs as it fights for air. Foam that has gone grey right through, feels stiff, or crumbles at the edges when handled is past washing and wants replacing.

Seat it fully in its recess before the tank goes back on. A foam sitting proud of its seat lets air take the easy route around the edge, which leaves you with a clean-looking filter and a motor eating dust anyway.
