SEBO Foot Pedal for the ELE...

Product details
Reclining an upright starts at the foot pedal, and on the SEBO ELECTRONIC 370 that pedal is part 2528OR in orange. It gets pressed with the side of a shoe dozens of times an hour in heavy use, which makes it one of the more predictable wear items on the machine.
The pedal releases the body so the machine can lie back for cleaning and stand up again for storage, and it has to do that with a shoe rather than a hand, which is why the contact face is generous and why it wears. Two failures are common. The stem snaps, usually at the point where it takes the leverage, and the pedal then flops without releasing anything. Or the contact face wears smooth and slightly dished, so a foot slides off it instead of pressing it, turning a one-second action into a fumble every time. A pedal that has gone loose in its mounting tends to take the parts around it with it as the load shifts off centre.
A new one brings back a firm, predictable press underfoot. Orange is the specific finish for this number, so order by part number rather than by description if the machine has been repaired before. While working at that end of the machine, the bumper 2522HG and the brush strip cover 2542 are both worth a look.
