Returns & Exchanges

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Graphite panel for the AUTOMATIC X4 Boost, part 50747SE is the entire front cover of the machine rather than a trim piece. It is the face opened at every bag change and the surface that takes the knocks when an upright meets a chair leg or a baseboard, so it wears in a way the rest of the bodywork does not.

Once it has cracked around a hinge or lost the catch holding it shut, the bag compartment no longer closes tightly and the machine looks tired even while it still runs well. There is a working consequence as well as a cosmetic one: a compartment that is not drawn fully closed draws air in at the door, and air entering there is air not being pulled through the floor head. A complete cover puts both right in one job, with nothing to salvage off the broken panel first.

Supplied complete means exactly that — the panel arrives finished in graphite and ready to hang, so no hinges, clips or badges have to be transferred across from the damaged one. That matters on a cover, because the pieces most likely to have failed are precisely the ones a part-only repair would ask you to reuse.

The graphite shell over the power head is a separate part, number 50799GS, and the two are often bought together when a machine has been knocked about at both ends. Bags and filters for the X4 Boost are worth adding while the compartment is open: the service box 5828AM holds eight bags with a microfilter, exhaust filter and sealing strip, 5827AM is the HEPA version of the same box, and 5143 is the exhaust filter on its own.
