Handle Release Pedal - Kobl...

Product details

The Koblenz U75 unlocks its handle with a foot pedal at the base, and part 05-4724-02-6 is the replacement for it. It also covers the Koblenz 6210.

Commercial uprights get this pedal pressed hundreds of times a week, usually with a boot, and the plastic eventually gives out at the pivot or at the tab that engages the handle lock. The failure goes one of two ways. Either the handle will no longer release, so the machine cannot be reclined to get under desks and beds, or it will no longer lock, leaving the handle to drop under its own weight every time you stop pushing.

Neither is a small annoyance over a full shift. A new pedal restores the positive click at both ends of the travel, down to release and up to hold. It installs at the handle joint with hand tools and needs no modification.
