This hanging strap for 2 inch PVC vacuum tubing is an installation support used to carry central vacuum pipe along joists, rafters, and basement ceilings. Long horizontal runs of tubing need regular support points; without them, the pipe sags between fittings, stresses the cemented joints, and rattles when the system runs.
