This height adjustment cam (part #1225000100) is a replacement component for Filter Queen power nozzles. The cam sets the brush-roll height for different carpet piles and hard floors, turning to raise or lower the nozzle so the brush meets the surface at the correct depth.
A worn or cracked cam no longer holds its settings, which lets the nozzle sit too high or too low. Set too high, the brush barely touches the carpet and cleaning suffers; set too low, the motor labors and the brush wears fast. A fresh cam restores crisp, repeatable height selection.
