Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. This HEPA filter, part 1635630, is the one fitted to the Bissell SurfaceSense 3418, and it also serves the 3415, 3402, 3774 and 3774G. It is the last stage of filtration before air leaves the machine, so it takes the fine dust the cyclone and pre-filter missed.

HEPA media traps by loading up, which means a filter doing its job is steadily working its way towards being blocked. The symptoms creep in: the vacuum sounds higher pitched, the motor runs warmer, suction at the head is weaker than it was six months ago, and there is a dusty note in the exhaust.

Set the new filter into its housing the right way round and make sure it is fully seated. Most households change this one every three to six months depending on how hard the machine works.
