HiZero Rear Axle - F500 Bio...

Product details

Part M6400000601 is the rear axle for the HiZero F500 Bionic Mop. It is the steel shaft the two rear wheels ride on, and it is what keeps them sitting square under the body while you push the machine across the floor.

Trouble starts when grit works into the wheel bores or the shaft takes a knock and loses its straightness. Once the axle is bent or worn oval the wheels tilt, the F500 stops tracking in a straight line, and one wheel begins rubbing the housing instead of rolling free. You end up steering against the machine on every pass, and the wheels themselves wear faster the longer the shaft runs untrue.

The wheels come off to reach the axle, so inspect them while you are in there; a straight new shaft in badly worn wheels will not feel much better. This axle is for the F500 - if you run a different HiZero model, match the part number on your machine first.
