Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. The hood is the top shell of the Turbo Cat 9874 power nozzle: the piece that covers the brush roll, closes the air path over it, and takes every knock the nozzle collects going under furniture. This one is finished in medium gray and is ordered simply as HOODGRAY.

Cracked hoods are common on any nozzle old enough to have been used properly. A split along the top or a broken mounting boss lets air in above the brush roll, and a nozzle that leaks air stops pulling at the carpet no matter how strong the power unit is. A missing hood leaves the roller and the drive exposed to whatever gets kicked up off the floor.

Fitting it is straightforward with hand tools. With the top off, check the brush roll ends and the belt; if the hood took a hard enough hit to crack, something underneath probably took it too.
