This replacement drive belt fits Hoover Air Pro and Air Sprint upright vacuums, specifically models UH72420 and UH72450, and also serves as the 201-3M style belt used in the Lux Side Kick 2 (K107Y) power nozzle. It drives the brushroll that agitates carpet fibers so dirt and debris release into the airflow.
When a belt stretches, glazes, or snaps, the brushroll slows or stops while the motor keeps running, leaving carpets poorly cleaned and sometimes producing a rubber odor. Dropping in this fresh belt restores correct tension and full agitator speed.
