Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This replacement latch assembly (Part #36153004) fits Hoover broom and stick vacuums, covering models S2505, S2515, S2531, S2535, S2541, S2541-040, S2543, S2545, S2561, S2569, S2571, and S2610. It clicks the dust compartment lid shut and holds it there during vacuuming.

Once the latch wears out or snaps, the lid no longer stays closed and collected debris falls straight back onto the floor you just cleaned. A working latch keeps the compartment sealed so the machine holds what it picks up.
