We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. This clean water tank assembly, supplied with its cap, is Hoover part 440015234 and belongs to the PowerScrub XL carpet washers.
The tank holds the solution the machine sprays into the carpet, so anything that compromises it shows up immediately in the cleaning. A hairline crack, a gasket that has gone hard, or a latch that no longer pulls the tank down all end the same way: solution running down the outside of the machine, a trail of drips across the floor, and a room and a half of cleaning from a tank that used to do two.
The tank fits the Hoover FH68000, FH68010, FH68020, FH68040DI, FH68050 and FH68060. Fill it to the marked line, check the gasket face is clean before it goes back on, and look at the latch for wear at the same time.
