This OEM Hoover Conquest motor rivet fits the C1065 and a range of related Conquest commercial models. The rivet fastens the motor assembly, holding its components together at the mounting point.
A sheared or missing motor rivet lets the assembly loosen, which brings vibration, noise, and can misalign the motor. Replacing it with the correct rivet returns the assembly to a tight, secure fit. In commercial use the constant running works fasteners loose faster, so a sound rivet matters more here than on a home machine.
