Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. This spring, part 38335026, provides the closing tension for the debris door on the Hoover U5162-900 upright, the small hinged flap that must stay shut while the machine runs.

Springs lose tension gradually with heat and repeated cycles, and once this one weakens the door no longer closes with enough force to seal. It can drift open under normal airflow and let collected dirt drop back onto the carpet behind the machine, a symptom people usually pin on the brush roll or a full bag long before they suspect the spring behind it.
