Genuine Hoover door and spring assembly for the UH72400 Air Steerable bagless upright vacuum. This part combines the access door with its return spring, the hinged flap that opens to release or empty the dirt cup and snaps shut under spring tension to keep the bin sealed during use.
If the original door cracks or its spring weakens or breaks, the door won't latch, falls open, or fails to seal, which lets dust escape and undermines suction. Installing this assembly (Part #440004082) restores a door that opens easily and springs firmly closed on the UH72400 Air Steerable.
