Hoover Duct Cover - U5270 B...

Product details

Duct cover for the Hoover U5270 Breatheasy upright, part 38656033. It closes the internal air duct running between the nozzle, the dust container and the filter, and it only does its job if it seals.

This is a part that hides from troubleshooting. A crack or a warped edge lets air short-circuit the duct, so the machine draws part of its air from inside its own body rather than from the floor. Suction falls, filtration falls with it, and every obvious cause checks out clean: no clog, container empty, filter fresh.

If you have already ruled those three out on a Breatheasy and the machine is still down on power, take the duct cover off and hold it up to the light. Replacing it is uncomplicated and restores the sealed path the filtration system was designed around.
