We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Part 440001582 is the exhaust filter cover assembly listed for the Hoover SH40060, supplied in blue metallic.
The cover's job is to hold the exhaust filter flat against its opening while the machine runs. A cover that has cracked, or that no longer holds tight, can let the filter shift or sit slightly proud, and once that happens some exhaust air finds its way around the filter media instead of through it, so filtration stops being complete even though the filter itself may still be fine.
