Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. If a Hoover U5183 Fusion has started running only when the handle is held just so, the fault is usually in the connector rather than the motor. Part 93001717 is the female half of that inline joint - the socket the plug seats into.

Age does two things to it. The contacts inside spread a little with every connection, so their grip on the pins softens, and the plastic shell goes brittle in the area that flexes when the handle is lowered. Once both have happened, the joint makes and breaks with movement: the machine flickers on and off, or loses the brush motor while suction carries on as normal.

Fit it dry and push until it clicks. A connector that has not fully seated behaves exactly like the worn one you have just taken out.
