Part AH43000 is a two-pack foam filter Hoover lists for the OnePWR Linx line, covering the BH53400CDI, BH53420FDI and BH53450CDI.
This foam filter keeps fine dust away from the motor, and it tends to fail quietly. It does not have to tear to stop working: once it has been compressed and rinsed enough times that it no longer springs back to its original thickness, it stops sealing properly and lets dust through even though it still looks whole, which is usually the point where a Linx that has otherwise been maintained starts losing suction for no obvious reason.

- Care: rinse in water only, and let each piece dry completely before refitting
- Replace when: the foam stays flattened after a rinse or has visible tears
Rinse each piece in plain water only, since anything else can leave a residue worked into the foam's cells that a rinse alone will not clear back out. Having the second filter from the pack ready means one can be drying fully while the other stays in the machine, rather than refitting a piece that is still damp.
