Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Sold as a two-belt set, this flat drive belt is Hoover's Style 309 profile, which the manufacturer's parts listing also carries under cross-reference number 59135309. It is stocked here as part AH20000.

It fits the Hoover S3825 and S3865 canister vacuums along with the SH40040, SH40060, SH40130, and SH40130DI models that use the Style 309 belt.

The belt loops around the motor spindle and the brushroll shaft, and its tension is what keeps the brushroll turning at full speed. A belt that has stretched or glazed lets the roll slip or stall even while the motor and suction still sound normal, which is usually the first sign it needs replacing. Buying two at once means a spare is on hand for the next changeout.

Check the belt whenever suction feels strong but the carpet isn't getting groomed; a slipping or snapped belt is the most common cause on these models.
