We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. This is the front wheel axle from the Hoover U5507 Elite Rewind, part 93002121, supplied singly. It fits the U5507900 and U5507950, the U5509, U5509900 and U5509950, the U5511 and U5511900, the U5512 and U5512900, and the UH40070 and UH40150HD.
The axle runs through the front of the base and carries the wheels that take the machine's weight as you push. Hair winds onto it, packs solid against the wheel hubs, and the wheels stop turning freely - from there the vacuum drags or judders on carpet and squeaks on hard floors. A bent axle does the same thing, and it usually comes from lifting the machine by the base.
Cut the wound hair off the old axle before deciding what to replace. Sometimes the wheels are fine and it is only the axle that has had it.
