Hoover H Agitator Shaft U7069

Product details

Part 32873007 is the agitator shaft for the Hoover U7069 and the Conquest commercial uprights built on the same nozzle - the C1800, C1800010, C1800020, C1810 and C1815. The shaft runs through the centre of the brush roll and carries drive from the belt out to the bristles.

A shaft that has gone bent, or worn where it rides in the end bearings, lets the brush roll wobble in the housing. You hear it first as a knock or a rising rattle, then the roll starts binding under load and can stall outright against thick carpet, which cooks the belt in short order.

Replace the belt at the same time if it looks glazed, and check the end bearings while the roll is out - a shaft rarely fails on its own. Confirm your Hoover model number before ordering so the shaft matches the drive setup on your machine.
