We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.
Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. The hardwood brush block carries the scrubbing bristles on the Hoover FH41000 and FH41010, and this replacement is part 440014580.
Bristles on a hard floor cleaner have a harder life than carpet bristles. They work against an unyielding surface and wear at the tips until the whole row sits shorter than it started. The machine then skims: it lays solution down and wipes it around rather than scrubbing anything loose, and floors dry looking dull and slightly streaked. Uneven wear across the block is more obvious still, because one end keeps working while the other does nothing.
A new block puts full-length bristles back in contact across the width of the head. It fits the Hoover FH41000 and FH41010. Hold a straight edge across the old block if you are unsure, since flattened or stepped bristles are the signal to change it.
