Hoover Motor Assembly - Bru...

Product details

Part 741266002 is the brush roll motor assembly for the Hoover SH40050 and SH40055, the Platinum Collection cyclonic bagless canisters. It lives in the power nozzle and drives the brush roll directly.

The symptom that brings people here is a specific one: airflow is normal, the machine sounds healthy, but the brush roll will not turn. Before ordering, rule out the belt and clear wound hair from the roller ends, because both mimic a dead motor. If the belt is intact, the roller spins freely by hand, and the nozzle stays silent under power, the motor is the answer.

It is sold as an assembly, so it goes in as a unit with the mounting points matched to the nozzle housing. It fits the SH40050 and SH40055; the brush motors used in Hoover's upright range are a different part and do not interchange with this one.
