Genuine Hoover Poly-V power nozzle belt (Part #562206001) for Hoover cyclonic canister vacuums, including models S3685, SH40050 and SH40055. The Poly-V (multi-rib) profile grips the drive pulley across several ribs for high torque and a quiet, slip-resistant transfer of power to the powered nozzle's brush roll.
This belt keeps the motorized floor head's brush bar spinning at full speed so the canister system can agitate carpet and lift embedded debris and pet hair. A glazed, stretched, or torn belt lets the brush slip or stall, weakening pickup on carpeted floors.
