Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Shield your Hoover's power cord from fraying with this Hoover square cord protector (Part #38-5610-69). This molded protector seats into the square cord-exit opening on the vacuum housing, cushioning the cord where it bends sharply away from the machine and absorbing the strain of everyday tugging.

The point where the cord leaves the vacuum body endures the most flexing of any spot on the cord. Without a protector in place, the jacket chafes against the housing edge and the conductors eventually break, leading to intermittent power or exposed wire. A cracked or missing protector should be replaced promptly for safety. Part #38-5610-69 snaps back into the square opening to keep the cord properly cradled and extend its life. Verify the square cord-slot dimensions on your Hoover model before ordering to ensure a snug fit.
