Part 101705 replaces the 1-1/2 inch hose on a ProTeam TailVac or Super HalfVac Pro, arriving with both end connectors fitted so it goes straight on at the machine and at the wand.
Commercial use wears a hose from the outside in, and the wear shows before the performance does. With the machine running, flex the hose in sections and listen for a dry crackling noise, run a finger around the machine-end cuff to feel for escaping air, and check for any point where the outer wall has thinned or scuffed through. Each of these points to the same result at the tool: pickup that has quietly disappeared, which often gets pinned on the motor instead. A machine that runs at its usual volume but leaves noticeably more debris behind on a pass is showing the same symptom in a different form.
A hose gets dragged across chair legs, thresholds and floor edges rather than lifted over them, which is why it tends to need attention before the machine it is attached to does, and why a scheduled check is worth the couple of minutes it costs.
