This is the agitator brush locking clip for the Johnny Vac JV252 cordless stick vacuum (Part #JV25210). The clip secures the brushroll (agitator brush) inside the powerhead, holding it firmly in its bearings so it spins true and stays in place during use.
Over time these clips can crack, wear, or break, allowing the brushroll to rattle, slip out of alignment, or fall free when you remove it for cleaning. Replacing the locking clip restores a positive lock so the agitator seats correctly and the floor head sweeps efficiently again.
