Shipping Information

Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

The carbon brush rides against the motor's commutator and conducts current to the armature, the spinning core that drives both the suction fan and the brush roll. As the carbon wears down over years of cleaning, the motor can spark, lose strength, or stop running — new brushes are the fix.

This brush fits the long line of vintage Kirby models spanning the 1CR through the Legend II (LGII), covering many of the company's well-loved mid-century and later uprights. Replacing the brushes is a routine, cost-effective repair that keeps these durable machines running for decades.
