The Kirby Fork Back Cover Plate in Tradition Blue is a genuine OEM trim piece for the Tradition 3CB and a long line of earlier Kirby upright vacuums. It covers the rear of the handle fork assembly, protecting the hardware underneath while keeping the classic Kirby look intact.
Kirby uprights are famous for staying in service for decades, and small trim parts like this one are usually what shows their age first. A cracked or missing cover plate leaves the fork assembly exposed and makes an otherwise solid machine look neglected. Replacing it restores both the appearance and the structural integrity of the handle, keeping the vacuum comfortable to operate.
This plate fits Kirby models from the 505 through the Tradition 3CB, including the 508 through 519, 560, 561, 562, Sanitronic VII, D50, D80, Classic I CR, Classic Omega 1CB, and Classic III 2CB.
