The genuine OEM Kirby Nozzle Bumper in blue is built for the Tradition 3CB. It fits around the front of the nozzle, cushioning the machine against furniture and baseboards and protecting the nozzle housing from the knocks of routine cleaning.
Age and repeated impacts eventually make a bumper stiff and cracked, and a piece that has broken away leaves the hard nozzle edge exposed to scuff walls and chip trim. A worn bumper can also spoil the machine's appearance. Installing a fresh one restores the protective cushion and the finished look.
