This replacement motor end bracket (part #114787) is the commutator-end bracket for the Lamb 6725 vacuum motor. The bracket caps the commutator end of the motor and holds the bearing and brush assembly in alignment.
A cracked or worn end bracket lets the armature shift out of true, which causes vibration, uneven brush contact, and premature bearing wear. Left unaddressed, the misalignment shortens motor life. A correct bracket returns the rotating assembly to proper alignment and smooth running.
