New Lamb Ametek 115684 central vacuum motor — SKU 208 — a two-stage, 220-240 volt Lamb original (never rebuilt) fitted to a number of central vacuum power units. The compact 6" height and 7.2" bottom diameter house a motor rated at 110" waterlift, 97.8 CFM, and 338 air watts on a 5.5 amp draw.

Two labeling notes from the factory: this motor may read 11-5684 or 5684 on the housing, and the 115334 is this motor's 120-volt counterpart. The 115684 replaces the 115684 part number only.

Retire the old motor when its 900-1,200 hours are used up or when it trips the mini breaker, smells electrical, throws visible sparks, or cuts out intermittently. Replacement is a matter of three bolts and two wire hookups. Like other Lamb motors, the 115684 uses replaceable carbon brushes — order two if you plan to service it ahead of failure.
