Lamb Motor - 5.7", 4-Stage,...

Product details

Four stages in a 5.7-inch frame: part 119292-00 is an Ametek Lamb 120-volt motor that fits the Lamb 8529. Stacking four fan sets in series is done for one reason, and that is water lift, the pressure needed to pull through long hose runs or lift liquid.

Motors do not usually fail overnight. Suction fades over weeks, the running note changes, a burning smell develops in the exhaust, and eventually the unit will not start. By the time it has turned intermittent, the brushes or the bearings are generally past saving.

Match the frame diameter, voltage and stage count to the motor you are removing, because a two-stage motor in the same 5.7-inch frame will fit the opening but will not give the machine its rated lift. Professional installation is recommended.
