Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. Product details

The early short latch cover screw for the Hoover 6430, part 012111. Hoover used more than one length here, and this is the short, early-production version. The wrong length either bottoms out before it clamps or does not reach the thread at all.

A missing or stripped screw leaves the latch cover free to move. It rattles, it sits slightly proud, and the assembly it should be holding together no longer lines up. The temptation is to force in whatever screw is in the drawer, which is how the thread in the housing gets stripped, and that is a far worse problem than a lost screw.

The correct screw threads in and pulls the cover down flat. Confirm your machine takes the early short version before ordering.
