SEBO Leaf Spring for the Mi...

Product details
A microfilter only cleans the air that is forced through it, and on the 370 series uprights what forces the air through it is this flat steel leaf spring. It loads the microfilter holder onto its sealing face every time the cover is shut, turning a part that merely sits in place into one that seals. Part 1027-2 is that spring, supplied on its own.
Springs of this kind fail slowly and quietly. The steel takes a set, the pressure drops away, and dusty air begins slipping around the edge of the media rather than passing through it. There is no noise and no warning light, just a gradual loss of filtration and a fine grey film appearing on the exhaust side of the machine and on the surfaces near it. A holder that lifts out too easily, or a cover that closes with noticeably less resistance than it used to, points the same way.
- Part number: 1027-2
- Fits: SEBO 370 series
- Material: flat spring steel
- Position: behind the microfilter holder, in the exhaust filter chamber
- Function: loads the microfilter holder onto its sealing face
- Signs of a tired spring: a loose holder, a slack cover, dust escaping past the filter
- Sold: each
Fit it with the filter chamber clean and the holder sitting square, then check that the cover closes with its usual resistance. A spring under the right load is the difference between a filter that does its rated work and one that is simply present. It is worth replacing while the machine is already open for a filter change rather than making a separate job of it.
This is the part behind searches for a SEBO 370 microfilter holder spring, a SEBO exhaust filter clamp spring or a genuine SEBO 1027-2. Genuine SEBO part from an authorized dealer, shipping in 2-5 business days.
