Returns & Exchanges

We offer 35-day returns on eligible items: request a Return Authorization (RA#) within 35 days of delivery, and your return must reach us within 21 days after the RA# is issued.

Items must be unused, in new condition, and in original packaging with all accessories. For non-defective returns you pay return shipping; original shipping charges are not refunded, and if your order shipped free our actual outbound shipping cost is deducted from the refund. On the MC-V9644 the headlight sits in the power nozzle rather than the canister body, and part AMC744-119 is the clear light cover that fits over it. It shields the bulb from impact and debris while sending its beam forward to light the carpet just in front of the nozzle, the one spot a canister headlight actually needs to reach.

Light covers cloud with age from years of heat cycling next to the bulb, and they crack when the nozzle takes a knock against a stair nose or a chair leg. A clouded cover dims the beam noticeably even with a healthy bulb behind it. A cracked one stops protecting the bulb and its wiring from the dust the nozzle is stirring up inches away. Telling the two apart is quick: if the beam looks dim and yellowed rather than crisp against the floor, suspect the cover before condemning the bulb, because a clouded lens dims evenly while a failing bulb tends to flicker.

The cover releases by pressing in and lifting on one side at the same time, which frees the locking tab and brings the cover and lens away together. That makes this the natural moment to check the bulb as well, since both are reached in one operation and a dim headlight is as often a tired bulb as it is a fogged lens.
